Saturday Afternoon League

When: Saturday Afternoons (1st Draw at noon, 2nd Draw at 2:15)

Description: The Saturday Afternoon league is a new team-entry league on Saturday afternoons. Games will be played on each Saturday when the ice is available with games starting at noon. If two draws are required, the second game will begin at approximately 2:15 pm.

The Saturday Afternoon League also accommodates those wishing to play matches in the new WCF "Mixed Doubles" format. For more information on this format, please click here. In order to encourage more doubles matches, the league does not require that doubles teams be of mixed gender.

The league features a flexible schedule, so teams and pairs may play whichever weeks they are available. There is no penalty for missing a game. Teams and pairs earn 3 points for a win, and 1 point for a loss. At the end of each half, the top two teams and pairs compete for the league championship. Teams and pairs are welcome to join the league at any point during the season.
