Come and learn all about one of the hottest Winter Olympic Sports

The 2018 Winter Olympics will start on February 9th,  are you ready to answer your viewers and readers questions on curling?

In preparation for the 2018 Winter Olympics, the Potomac Curling Club will be hosting a Media Day on Monday, Jan 15th from 10am-2pm. The Potomac Curling Club will be teaching and demonstrating the fundamentals of curling. They will also review rules, history, ice-preparation, and the science of the sport. 

Test your curling skills! It looks easy on TV, but can you throw a rock across the hog line? Club Members will be on hand to give lessons and demonstrations, as well as interviews.  Snacks will be provided. 

Anyone who will be going out on the ice should bring clean athletic shoes. Boots, heels, and dress shoes will not be permitted on the ice. Warm, athletic wear is recommended.

Potomac Curling Club of the National Capital Area Inc., a 501-C3 non-profit organization, is located at the Laurel Ice Garden. PCC opened in 2002 and has 260 members. Founded by six employees of the Canadian Embassy in 1961, the club is an all-volunteer club running leagues nightly for curlers of all levels.
