New Member Registration

Registration will be open September 03 - September 10 2026

New Members may return on September 21 to 27 to sign up for remaining League opportunities after the Lottery has concluded.

Please follow these directions to register as a New Member of the Potomac Curling Club.

Note: DO NOT complete this form if you already have a Potomac Curling Club account. You will need to login and then renew your membership. Directions

Important Notes:

  • After you complete registration, there will be a "Pay Now" button. Please use it!
    • You must submit payment for your registration to be complete! This will include your membership base fee.
    • You can modify Program selections after submitting your initial registration.   Profile -> Change Registration
    • If you need to submit a payment using your profile, follow these directions. 
  • A New Member may sign up for and use any Programs.
  • After the League Lottery has been conducted:,
    • Open League Slots will be available to New Members after the lottery has been performed but ONLY at the beginning of a season. Some leagues may require experience levels to play.

Step 1: Complete the New Member Sign-Up Form

  • Enter your Contact Details
  • Membership Group:  Curling With Leagues for all Curlers intending to play during leagues or programs.  New Members should select the New Curler league or No Lottery as their options.
  • Curling Without Leagues is for Social Members, Juniors, and College members who will use the ice on their dedicated times only.

  • If you are a Curling member, please check the boxes for any of the following.  
    • Indicate No lottery.
    • New Members should join the Saturday Night New Curler league.  its not necessary, but helpful for new members.
    • Indicate interest in any Programs of interest.  Selecting programs costs nothing and indicates interest and puts you on that Email list.

  • Select any Locker or Donation options.  Lockers are not always available.
  • Select any "Discount Options", if applicable.  Note these only work for the Regular Membership Category. 
  • Add any "Other Information".
    • Answer a few required and optional questions
    • New Members are not eligible for the lottery, but may sign up for open league spots after the lottery is concluded.
  • Click the "Validate Registration and Calculate Fee" button.
  • Note: You can only go past step 1 if all of the required fields are filled out properly.

Step 2: Verify your information is correct

  • You will see your registration cost listed at the bottom of the form.
  • If you are satisfied, click "Complete Registration".  If not, click "Go Back to Revise Form"

Step 3: Payment

  • Please read these directions carefully!  This is your easiest chance to pay online.
  • Click the PAY NOW button on the right side of the screen.  You are NOT required to have a Paypal account.  You can pay with any credit card.
  • Note: If you do not pay online, you will not be able to setup a username and password immediately.  The registration team will contact you with directions on how to setup your account, and submit your payment.
  • All members are required to pay their registration base fee to retain membership and secure entry in the league lottery, if applicable.

Step 4: Create a Username and Password

  • To obtain a username and password, use this link -or- click the "Login" link at the top of the website and click on "Forgot Your Username"
  • Enter your email address and click Submit.  You will be emailed a temporary username and password.
  • Login with your temporary username and password.  You can use the "My Profile" menu to select "Member Profile Update".  Use Membership Info tab to change your username and password.

Step 5: Volunteer Expectations

  • All Potomac Members are expected to give 20 hours per year, 10 hours per season. 
  • The Club has dozens of roles require all kinds of skills for all kinds of needs.

Step 6: Order a Name Tag

  • As a new member, you are eligible for a free Potomac Curling Club nametag. Order one online. You can enter any text of your choosing! Use your name or be creative!
