Membership Renewal for the Potomac Curling Club
  Directions for Returning Members

Please follow these directions to renew your membership.  These directions apply if you are an existing member with an account in our online system.

Note: If you have never curled / signed up at our club before, you will be a New Member and should use this page. Directions

Important Notes:

  • After you complete registration, there will be a "Pay Now" button. Please use it!
    • You must submit payment for your registration to be complete! This will include your membership base fee.
    • You can modify Program selections after submitting your initial registration.   Profile -> Change Registration
    • If you need to submit a payment using your profile, follow these directions,
  • Before the League Lottery has been conducted:
    • Registration payment for the regular membership base fee must be made to be eligible for the lottery.
    • You can modify League Lottery settings after submitting your initial registration.   Profile -> Member Profile Update -> Other
    • Registration will close temporarily while the lottery is being conducted.
  • After the League Lottery has been conducted:,
    • Leagues will appear on the registration page & your profile will be selectable.
    • If you have been selected for a league, it will already be checked and your balance due will be adjusted.
    • If there are still available slots for leagues, they are first come first serve and your balance due will be adjusted.
    • You must submit payment for your leagues to be eligible to play in a league.

Step 1: Login!

  • You MUST login before filling out the membership form. If you do not login, we cannot guarantee the timely processing of your submission.
  • If you do not remember your username, use the Forgot My Username page to retrieve your account.
  • If you do not remember your password, use the Forgot My Password page to reset your password.
  • DO NOT use the new member registration page.
  • If you have any issues, contact webmaster@curldc.org

Step 2: Complete the Membership Renewal Registration Form

  • Under the "Profile" menu, click on "Membership Renewal"
  • Select your Membership Group (Curling or Non-Curling) through the radio button
  • If Curling, select the Membership Fee Option / Category using the pull-down.  If Non-Curling, select the Social Membership using the pull-down.
  • If you are a Curling member, please check the boxes for any of the following
    • Indicate interest in the League Lottery (additional info required), if available.
    • Indicate registration for a Capital League team.  This should be pre-arranged.
    • Indicate interest in any of our Programs.
  • Select any "Additional Options"
  • Select any "Discount Options", if applicable.  Note these only work for the Regular Membership Category. 
  • Add any "Other Information"
    • Answer a few required and optional questions
    • Add League Lottery Information if you are entering the lottery. Detailed Instructions
  • Click the "Validate Registration and Calculate Fee" button.
  • Note: You can only go past step 2 if all of the required fields are filled out properly.

Step 3: Verify your information is correct

  • You will see your registration cost listed at the bottom of the form.
  • If you are satisfied, click "Complete Registration". If not, click "Go Back to Revise Form"

Step 4: Payment

  • Please read these directions carefully!  This is your easiest chance to pay online.
  • Click the PAY NOW button on the right side of the screen. You are NOT required to have a Paypal account. You can pay with any credit card.
  • All members are required to pay dues on or before September 27th (Or make the initial payment on an agreed upon payment plan) to retain membership and secure your spot in any registered leagues.

Step 5: Volunteering

  • All Members are Expected to volunteer 20 hours a year or 10 hours per season.
  • There are many tasks that need to be done and can be done from anywhere, We need your skills!

Optional: Order a Name Tag

  • Need a new name tag? Order one online. You can enter any text of your choosing! Use your name or be creative!
